Mimi Weddell: A View from Abroad

mimisizeandscopepicSerendipity. We left our Swiss hotel thinking it was a Mimi Kind of Day, bright and cool. Imagine our surprise when we spotted this advert in Basel: the elegance, the pose, that Hat. A chance encounter with the unforgettable icon of sass and style and the star of the Canobie Films documentary Hats Off, whose message to “rise above it” resonates in any language.

Mimi brought glamour and fun to whatever role she was playing and in how she lived her life. “Time for me,” says the ad. How fitting. Mimi is timeless.
