We sat down with Steven Pinker in February for our upcoming documentary, “The Test and the Art of Thinking” (working title), which explores what the SAT measures and means.
Steven Pinker is a Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. He conducts research on language and cognition, writes for publications such as the New York Times, Time and The New Republic, and is the author of ten books. He was interviewed for “The Test and the Art of Thinking” (working title) in February, 2015.
His TED Talk “What our Language Habits Reveal”, Steven Pinker looks at language and how it expresses what goes on in our minds — and how the words we choose communicate much more than we realize.
We had the privilege of interviewing esteemed professors, writers and tutors about the SAT in February. Below are some behind-the-scenes photos of these real-world practitioners and luminaries discussing the test.
